Canadian Forces Snowbirds 431 Air Demonstration Squadron
Last seen here 12 years ago in 2002, they produce some of the most awe inspiring and exquisite formation and precision flying seen in the skies today. They arrive with a total of 11 Jets, 2 are flown by the Coordinators and used as spare aircraft. The top speed of the aircraft, with smoke tanks attached, is 470 miles an hour. During their performance the SNOWBIRDS will fly at speeds ranging from 115 miles per hour to 370 miles per hour. When the two solo aircraft perform their head-on passes, they aim to be approximately only 33 feet apart when they cross with a closure speed of the jets that is very close to the speed of sound. They are hosted by Millers’ Professional Imaging.
